Along the way you will find viewpoints to enjoy the stunning views offered by the hills, you can approach one of the dark sandy beaches of Lake Mascardi. Past Villa Mascardi you turn right and you can walk a path surrounded by native forests. It is an area of exceptional beauty, visited every year by mountain and fishing lovers.
When you arrive at the Manso River, you can stop at the Los Rápidos Bridge to watch the trout swimming hurriedly in the crystal clear water.
From there you can see the valley of the upper Manso River in almost all its extension, with its meandering course and greenish waters. Following to Pampa Linda, you will find a beautiful place where accommodation and gastronomy services are located. From there you can see other glaciers of the Tronador.
The ascent continues until you reach the last viewpoint of the tour, the Black Blizzard, a glacier that descends from the Tronador and is noted for its dark color.

  • San Carlos de Bariloche (Pass by)

    San Carlos de Bariloche (commonly called Bariloche) is a city in the Patagonia region of Argentina. It borders Nahuel Huapi, a large glacial lake surrounded by mountains in the Andes. Bariloche is known for its Swiss alpine-style architecture and its chocolate, which is sold in shops on Miter Street, the main avenue. It is also a popular base for hiking and skiing in the nearby mountains, and for exploring the surroundings of the Lake District.

  • Cerro Tronador (Pass by)

    The name of the hill is due to the noise produced by the frequent melting of ice on glaciers, similar to that of thunder. Its height of 3554 meters above sea level and stands out among the mountain ranges of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. El Tronador has a total of seven glaciers which are currently in remission due to global warming. Cerro Tronador is the highest in the surroundings of Bariloche. Along the way, you will find viewpoints to enjoy the impressive views offered by the Bonete and Cresta de Gallo hills, or you can go to one of the dark sand beaches of Lake Mascardi. Passing Villa Mascardi, turn right and you can follow a path surrounded by native forests. It is an area of exceptional beauty, visited every year by lovers of mountains, climbing and fishing, since there are optimal areas such as Lake Los Moscos and the Manso River, which leads to Lake Hess.

    The ascent continues until you reach the last viewpoint of the tour, the Black Blizzard, a glacier that descends from the Tronador and is noted for its dark color. Back you can take the detour of the road that reaches the Los Alerces waterfall to contemplate this 30 meters high waterfall.
