For one hour, we will walk through the colony accompanied by a specialized guide, strolling among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, sharing their space respectfully and safely.
It’s not about observing them from afar, but walking among them while they naturally continue their routine in their environment.

Ushuaia is a city in Argentina, located in the Ushuaia department and serving as the capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica, and South Atlantic Islands. It was founded on October 12, 1884, by Augusto Lasserre as Fort Ushuaia on the site of the former mission established by Thomas Bridges.
We will sail on our boat through the Beagle Channel. There, we will be able to observe the Fuegian birdlife on Bird Island and Sea Lion Island, as well as the famous Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse.

It is an iconic place in the Beagle Channel, known for its great variety of birds and natural beauty. There are colonies of Royal and Imperial Cormorants throughout the year. In summer, we can see them nesting. Additionally, among them are Chilean Gulls, Grey Gulls, Antarctic Pigeons, Steamer Ducks, and South American Terns. Sea Lion Island: Another of the most important islands in the Beagle Channel, where you can observe sea lion colonies up close. You can see colonies of South American sea lions (one-haired) and South American fur seals (two-haired).
On the island, we will walk for one hour among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, always accompanied by a specialized guide who will allow us to learn all about these wonderful creatures in detail. This is the most important penguin colony in Tierra del Fuego. It is the only penguin colony in the Ushuaia area and attracts two main species: Magellanic penguins and Gentoo penguins.
