I lived a unique experience sailing the mythical Beagle Canal on an excursion that combines unforgettable landscapes and emblematic fauna of the region. During the tour we will visit Bird Island, home to numerous species of seabirds; the Isle of Wolves, where we will observe sea lions in their natural habitat; and the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
The highlight of the experience will be the landing on Martillo Island, where you will have the opportunity to take a guided walk among Papuan penguins in their natural environment. For approximately 30 minutes, you will be able to observe them very closely, know their behavior and enjoy a truly unique experience on this sub-Antarctic island.
This activity allows a direct and respectful connection with the fauna, becoming an incomparable way to live the nature of Tierra del Fuego.
The port of Ushuaia is located on the central bank of the Argentine city of Ushuaia, an administrative center, industrial, tourist, and port node, capital of the province of Tierra del Fuego
We depart from the local port towards Isla Alicia, where we will observe a colony of one-haired sea lions. Then we head towards Isla de los Pájaros, where colonies of royal and imperial cormorants inhabit next to their nests, being able to sight their chicks from spring to autumn. Once again we head east to another small island where, depending on the time of year, there are fur seals. Very close is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of the city of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we can see the island of rocky cormorants.

On the shores of the Beagle Channel and surrounded by the Martial mountain range, it offers a unique landscape in Argentina, with a combination of mountains, sea, glaciers and forests. Owner of a unique landscape, Ushuaia offers endless possibilities and activities, in summer, trekking, horseback riding, sport fishing and mountain biking, allowing visitors to enjoy nature and explore unexplored places through such incredible scenarios as the Tierra del Fuego National Park. In winter, the magnificent geography and cold temperatures invite you to practice skiing, both downhill (downhill) and cross-country (on flat terrain).
