A tour of one of the most representative landscapes of Argentina Patagonia, transiting part of the RN40 having the possibility to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views Arrivals in El Chalten we will take the transfer , will be a self-guided transfer, traveling the 37 km that separate us from the Desert Lake by a beautiful path of river, accompanying the Rio de las Vueltas.
Then, from Punta Sur pier we sail about 30 minutes watching Huemul and Creston glaciers to land in the sector of the Great Vespignani Glacier, which is located in the central area of the lake. Once there, under the supervision of an activity manager for your safety, you will have 2 hours to choose to travel all or any of the THREE trails. After a farewell chocolate we embark back to arrive at Punta Sur pier. From there the bus transfers us to El Chaltén to take the bus that will take you to El Calafate. (this transfer is without a guide )

El Chaltén is a municipality located in the Los Glaciares National Park, in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz. From here it is possible to access the trails that surround the peaks of Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy, to the northwest. Near Fitz Roy, a path leads to the viewpoint of the Los Tres Lagoon. Just northwest of the town, the shore of the Capri lagoon offers views of the mountains. San Martín, one of the main streets of the town, is full of shops.

It is located in the southwest sector of the province of Santa Cruz We will take the mythical Route 40 along Lake Argentino, cross the Santa Cruz River (Here we will tell Darwin's experiences with Fitz Roy going up this river until very close there)
