London is amazing but hectic so why not have a relaxing day in the English Countryside instead visiting The Cotswolds and beyond on a Downton Abbey themed tour with me.
We visit Highclere Castle grounds and gardens, home of Lord and Lady Grantham, Lady Mary and the Dowager (CASTLE/GARDEN TICKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED & MUST BE PURCHASED BY CLIENT)
We then tour the beautiful Cotswold villages and countryside that Downton Abbey brought to our screens in both TV/film and is a truly remarkable place.
We stop at Shops. Churches, market square, thatched cottages, village halls, cricket grounds and rose gardens.
Lunch can be taken in an Old English Pub where you can relax eating perhaps fish n chips or some local ales?
Or I can take you to a very English Garden tea shop … the choice is both yours and endless!
The afternoon is then driving through more countryside and villages chauffeured by your very own Branson before returning to your own place of residence listening to music of your choice.

1Bampton
We walk around the delightful Downton Abbey village on The edge of the Cotswolds and visit St Mary’s Church, The Crawfords house, Village Green and see where so many scenes were filmed in stunning Bampton.

2Highclere Castle
IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED Highclere Castle tickets then you spend 2-3 hours taking in the magnificence of the actual present day Aristocratic Castle of Lord and Lady Canarvon. You will see the interior and grounds where the Grantham’s lived and where so much of the Downton drama played out. TICKETS AVAILABLE VIA HIGHCLERE CASTLE WEBSITE

3Earl Shilton
Visit the quaint Hamlet of Shilton which is the picture postcard location of where Mr Bates was brought back to Downton when the unsavoury murder charge was levelled at him. Complete with ford, gardens and architecture this is a lovely stop.

4Swinbrook
We seek out the most romantic pub in The Cotswolds where Tom Branson and Lady Sybil eloped to❤️ Swinbrook is in its self a lovely spot and we can visit the pub and gardens too for a an ale or coffee.

5Cotswolds
In addition to the Downton experience we visit/drive through the outstanding natural beauty of The Cotswolds in whatever time is left over. This normally includes an hour for lunch if required
