Cu Chi Tunnels - an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years. (1) Watch a short documentary film about the Cu Chi Tunnels during wartime. (2) Explore the underground network of tunnels including living areas, field hospitals, kitchens, and weapon factories. 3. Crawl through the narrow tunnels. (4) Learn more about Vietnamese history, tradition, and culture through your guide’s explanation. (5) Taste local foods that Vietnamese soldiers ate during the war. (6) Try shooting AK47 or MK16 rifles at a shooting range (optional, with surcharge, well supervised).
