What to expect

This tour takes you to one of the least populated islands in the Galapagos (only 140 inhabitants), yet one very rich in history (more than three movies talk about Floreana Island), offering insights into the origins of the archipelago and traces of its first inhabitants. On Floreana Island, you’ll uncover fascinating tales of pirates and early settlers. Highlights include visiting the historic Asilo de La Paz, exploring pirate caves, and marveling at mysterious stone carvings. You’ll also encounter incredible wildlife, such as giant tortoises and sea lions, the Christmas iguanas (color varies depending on the season), enjoy snorkeling in clear waters with many sea turtles and sea lions, and capture the island’s stunning landscapes.
