• Menelik II Square (Pass by)

  Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Africa Menelik II Square is located in the heart of Addis Ababa, the area locally known as Arada. At the center of the square stands a magnificent equestrian statue of the Emperor. The monument was erected by Emperor Haile Selassie I, in 1930, just before his coronation.

  Mount Entoto

  we will drive uphill to Entoto, which once was Emperor Minilik II’s permanent camp. Driving the hill there is a considerable drop in altitude and the air is filled with the scent of the Eucalyptus trees which cover the area. From the top, there is a panoramic view of the capital and surrounding countryside. Please note that entrance fee to the Entoto park is not included, If you wish to enter the park the cost will be $8 per Person

  St. George's Cathedral

  Saint George Cathedral is one of the oldest religious sites in Addis Ababa. This historical church is famous for its octagonal architecture. Inside Saint George Cathedral, admire mosaics depicting biblical scenes like the visit of the Queen of Sheba to King Solomon. See also hand paintings showing historical/political events related with Emperor Haile Sillassie and Ethio-Italo II War. These wonderful paintings and mosaics are done by the famous Ethiopian Maître Artist Afework Tekle. You will also visit the museum of Saint George Cathedral to see a number of historical and religious artifacts. Duration: 40 minutes
