After a scenic 1-hour drive from your accommodation in Guadalajara, our journey begins with a visit to the circular pyramids of Guachimontones. Your guide will lead you through the archeological site, revealing fascinating facts about the architecture, agriculture, and spirituality of the indigenous civilization that flourished in Western Mexico 2000 years. Dive further into their intriguing stories at the on-site museum.

Then, we’ll explore the nearby town of Teuchitlan and experience firsthand the quiet rhythm of an authentic Mexican small town. As we stroll, we’ll visit the main square, the local market, the river boardwalk, and a selection of family-owned shops, offering a closer look at regional products and everyday life. We’ll conclude our adventure at the region’s largest lake, La Vega Lagoon, where you can relax over lunch and drinks while taking in the stunning natural surroundings. The return drive to Guadalajara takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic, bringing the total experience to about 6 hours.
