The Summer Palace is a must-see site in Beijing, and we offer two ticket types for your visit:
1. Combined Ticket
This ticket includes main gate entry and access to the major interior sights: Dehe Garden, Suzhou Street, Tower of Buddhist Incense, and Wenchang Gallery. You may enter anytime between 6:30 and 15:30, and stay inside the park until closing time.
2. Main Entrance Ticket
This ticket grants access to the general park area only. It’s a great choice if you prefer to stroll around the lake, admire the grand landscape, and see the exterior architecture without entering the paid interior venues.
Opening Hours April 1 - October 31: 6:00 - 19:00; Inside gardens: 8:00 to 17:30 November 1 - March 31: 6:30 - 18:00; Inside gardens: 8:30 to 16:30 As the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, the Summer Palace ranked amongst the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in year 1998. The garden greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'. Summer Palace radiates fully the natural beauty and the grandeur of royal gardens. Composed mainly of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it owns over 3,000 man-made ancient structures, including pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors, etc. The admission ticket only includes the main entrance. Combo ticket covers the entrance fee for Dehe Garden, Tower of Buddhist Incense, Wenchang Hall, Suzhou Street and Danning Hall.
