Sacramento is committed to celebrating public art and bringing it into people’s everyday lives. Public art has the power to spark conversation, engage the community, support artists and beautify a city. There is no better way to take in these works of art than on foot, so that you can get up close, linger and take photos. Through a renowned mural project, Wide Open Walls, the city has gained notoriety around the world for its murals by local and international artists. On this tour we share with you murals and other art created by artists from all over the world, including local Sacramento artists.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet ACROSS the street from the coffee shop, outside, in front of the West Lobby of the Safe Credit Union Convention Center by the sculpture of the giant crystal.
The tour ends in DOCO, by the arena and shopping area.

This 90 minute tour winds through downtown Sacramento and ends in the Downtown Commons known as DOCO, where we spend about 20 minutes. This area is teaming with fun bars and restaurants, shopping, a movie theater and the Kings Arena. You are welcome to stay in DOCO or wander over to the State Capitol after the tour.
