     Pick up from the Tamale airport and visit the Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art (SCCA). SCCA is an artist-run project space, exhibition and research hub, cultural repository and artists’ residency dedicated to art and cultural practices which emerged in the 20th Century.

     Take an Eco-canoe safari and see village life (with a great birdwatching opportunity) we take our guests to experience Mognori Eco-Village local canoe safari on the Mole River under the awning of the thick forest. You explore the serene environment on a canoe safari watching animals drink from the river and several bird species sing and fly over as the canoe moves. After the river experience, there is a local community tour of the local medicine man, the local herdsmen settlement etc.  See and try your hands on how the famous all natural Shea butter is transformed from Shea nuts to Sbutter and get a chance to buy the purest and freshest.

     Visit the only 100% Muslim community in Ghana on the way from Mole National Park, Larabanga community which hosts the famous Mosque (Masjid) & a trans-Sahara trade route Mystic Stone. Seen as the oldest Mosque in Ghana and one of the oldest in West Africa, Larabanga Mosque has a history of being built around 1421, using the Sudanese Architectural style and home to about 4000 in population. Our guests get to learn all about this community and its attractions.

     Explore the daily busy market of the city of Tamale, where communities all over the region and some neighboring countries come to trade with lots of everything to see to make your day interesting.  Visit the biggest leather factory in the Northern Region where our guests get to experience firsthand. How leather shoes, belts, wallets, sandals, bags etc. are made and the processes leading to the final product. Our guest would be taken through the beginning of the process from the fresh skin through to the final product and you can get to try your hands on making your own sandals.  Our trip takes us to the drop off point, Airport or proceed to the next adventure in either Wechiau, Paga Crocodile Pond, Sirigu pottery, Tongo Hills & Tengzug Shrines, Salaga Slave Market, Kintampo Falls, Boabeng Fiama Monkey Sanctuary, Cape Coast, Elmina Fishing Community & Castle, Kakum Rainforest Canopy Walk etc. Our guests would be exposed to this and many more on a trip with BGT across the country.
