A highly recommended fun and tasty activity for families and individuals alike to search for the Lapland’s nature treasures. Your guide will provide you the tools and knowledge on various mushrooms and berries. The forest offers many different types of berries and mushrooms in each season. For berries: bilberry (mid-July to early September), cloudberry (mid-July to late August), lingonberry (early September to mid-October), cranberry (late autumn). For fungi: false morels, boleti, rufous milk-caps and many types of russulas.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick up services from & to the accommodation within 800 meters to 8 kilometers from Sunny Safari office (Ainonkatu 3, 96200 Rovaniemi) are included. Meeting time is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting point & time upon confirmation. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting point or meeting time will not be refunded. If you need pick up from hotels, please meet the guide at your hotel reception on time. If you need pick up from Airbnb accommodation, please meet the guide outside of your apartment building on time. The guide wears an orange hat.

- Operated in Rovaniemi each year between July to September (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price.
- Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Sunny Safari Office is within 8km.
- Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes according to the weather. Raincoats and rubber boots are recommended on rainy days.
