Day 1: Pune to Aurangabad – Ellora Caves & Grishneshwar Temple (With Guide)
Start your journey from Pune with a comfortable drive of approximately 4 hours (220 km) to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. Meet your professional guide and driver to begin your visit to the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rock-cut temples, including the magnificent Kailasa Temple. Afterward, explore the nearby Grishneshwar Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, offering a spiritual experience. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Aurangabad.
Day 2: Ajanta Caves Excursion (With Guide)
After breakfast, depart at 8:30 am for the Ajanta Caves, located about 100 km (2-hour drive) from Aurangabad. Discover the stunning Buddhist rock-cut caves, adorned with ancient frescoes and sculptures dating back to the 2nd century BC. Your guide will provide detailed insights into the history, art, and legends of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Aurangabad for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Aurangabad City Tour – Bibi Ka Maqbara, and Panchakki (With Guide)
Start your day after breakfast with a guided city tour of Aurangabad. Visit the Bibi Ka Maqbara, known as the "Mini Taj," admire the engineering marvel of Panchakki (ancient watermill), and explore Daulatabad Fort, a hilltop fortress with panoramic views and rich history. After lunch, you may be dropped off at your preferred location, including Pune, Aurangabad, Shirdi, or Bhusawal, to continue your onward journey.
