Drive to Ajanta Caves We’ll start with a scenic 2-hour drive (around 100 km) to the famous Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we reach the parking area (4 km from the caves), a shuttle bus will take us to the entrance. Don’t worry—your guide will help with shuttle and entry tickets. Explore the Ajanta Caves Spend around 3 hours exploring these ancient rock-cut caves, dating back to the 2nd century BC. Inside, you’ll see beautiful Buddhist carvings, paintings, and stories told through art. Lunch and Return After the cave visit, enjoy a tasty local lunch (your guide will suggest a good place). Then we’ll head back to Aurangabad, ending your wonderful day with great memories.
Start Your Day Enjoy your breakfast, then meet your driver or guide at 8:30 a.m. in your hotel lobby. Visit Ellora Caves We’ll drive about 1 hour (35 km) to the amazing Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caves are over 1,000 years old and show beautiful art from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religions. Don’t miss Cave 16 — the famous Kailash Temple, carved from a single rock and dedicated to Lord Shiva! Lunch Break After exploring the caves, you can take a break and enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara Next, we’ll drive about 30 km to see Bibi Ka Maqbara, also known as the "Mini Taj Mahal." It’s a beautiful monument and a great way to end your day.
Afternoon Visit to Bibi Ka Maqbara After your visit to the stunning Ellora Caves, we’ll drive around 30 km to Bibi Ka Maqbara. Built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, this beautiful monument is often called the “Taj of the Deccan.” Its lovely Mughal-style architecture makes it a must-see in Aurangabad. Shopping Time & Tour End Next, enjoy some free time to shop for local specialties like Himroo and Paithani sarees — perfect souvenirs from Aurangabad! After shopping, we’ll drop you off at the place of your choice — whether it’s your hotel, the airport, or the train station.
