After a Brief Introduction to your Golden Triangle Tour, you will check in to have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Check-in at your room and enjoy the comforts of your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Spend it relaxing. If you arrive early then have a half-day Delhi Sightseeing tour and a short visit to the Akshardham Temple. The vibrant capital city of India lying along the River Yamuna is a teeming metropolis of 16 million people and nowhere in the Country is the contrast between old and new more obvious. After breakfast at the hotel, Start your sightseeing of "Old & New Delhi" by stopping at Red Fort then visit Jama Masjid, India's biggest mosque. Then take a Rickshaw Ride in the Chandni Chowk market. Continue to visit Rajghat, which is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Originally it was the name of a historic ghat of Old Delhi. Then visit Humayun's Tomb,was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1565-70. You'll also visit Qutub Minar ( UNESCO World Heritage Site), a minaret and "victory tower" that forms part of the Qutb complex. Your next stop is India Gate a war memorial located astride the eastern edge of the "ceremonial axis" of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway., then drive past The Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India located at the Western end of Rajpath in New Delhi and Parliament House is the house of the Parliament of India, which contains the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. After breakfast, you'll be driven to Agra via on the expressway. Arrive in Agra, After freshening up, meet your Guide in the Hotel Lobby. Start your tour with Agra Fort which is a historical fort in the city of Agra. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before captured by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it was the Marathas. You'll have ample time to see the Fort and enjoy its magnificent architecture. Then visit Mehtab Bagh This garden was the last of eleven Mughal-built gardens along the Yamuna opposite the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort; the first being Ram Bagh. It is mentioned that this garden was built by Emperor Babur. It is also noted that Emperor Shah Jahan had identified this site as an ideal location for the beautiful view of Taj Mahal during Sunset. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
At 5.45 AM, meet your guide in the Hotel Lobby to visit the sunrise at the Taj Mahal. It consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest step-well in India. Continue your journey. Then, arrive in Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Jaipur.
After breakfast at the hotel at 8.00 AM meet your guide and proceed to Jaipur{Pink City} the ruler of Amer. This town is also referred to as Pink city for the color of the buildings in its wonderful old city. The city was painted pink to honor the visit of Prince Albert of England in 1882. Visit Amer Palace -This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex each with its courtyard. Stop for photos at Jal Mahal -(water palace) It is in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake. City Palace which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and a Royal residence. Jantar Mantar It features the world's largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hawa Mahal -(wind palace) stop here for good pictures. Hawa Mahal -It is constructed of red and pink sandstone. The structure was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh & Local Market. Overnight in Jaipur.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur Airport or back to Delhi (approximately five hours) and be dropped off either at your Hotel/ Delhi Airport/ Railway station or your desired location in Delhi/Noida/Gurgaon.
