Salamo alaïkom! My name is Abir. It has been always my dream since I was 12 years old to be a licensed tour guide and to represent my Tetouan, in addition to that I knew that it would be a great opportunity for me to meet & host people and learn about new cultures from all around the world. Therefore after finishing my studies in English Literature at university I decided to study further to become a certified tour guide and the only active female tour guide in Tetouan.
When you book your tour with me, I know for sure that you would not regret it as I would be very pleased to host you, show you the best sites & and bring you closer the local life of the Tetouanis. I assure you that It will be not just a ‘tour’ but an experience with my historical, cultural background and my funny side, my experiences in life and society or even teach you some basic words in Darija.

Meeting and pickup
It is possible to either meet up at this meeting point ‘Place Moulay El Mahdi, next to the yellow church’ or be picked up from your hotel or riad (old medina-ancient part of the city) I would really appreciate it if you inform me at least 1 day before the scheduled tour. Kindly note that the pick it's by foot. Thank you!

1Medina of Tetouan
We’ll explore the Spanish neighborhood with its beautiful Andalusian architecture, then head to Feddan Square and the historic Jewish Mellah. Enjoy a 15-minute break tasting white cow cheese, dry fruits, and hot mint tea in front of the Royal Palace. Continue to the Old Medina, surrounded by 16th-century walls and seven gates. Visit Souk El Hout, where countryside women sell handmade products and you can enjoy a fun cultural photo experience. Finally we will discover the Kasbah from outside, built in 1286 and restored in the 15th century.
