Pick-up at your hotel or address in Rome.

10:30 — Arrival in Assisi and visit to the Basilica of St. Francis
First stop in the spiritual heart of the city: the Basilica of San Francesco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with frescoes by Giotto and Cimabue.
Free time for the internal visit and to take panoramic photos of the Umbrian valley.
12 : 00 — Visit to the Basilica of Santa Chiara
Short drive to the basilica dedicated to St. Clare, disciple of St. Francis.
Possibility of walking in the old town and visit of local shops.
13 : 00 — Lunch break
Free time for lunch in a typical Umbrian restaurant in the center of Assisi (not included).
Recommended local dishes such as umbricelli with truffles or porchetta di Norcia.

Immersed in the green of Mount Subasio, the Hermitage is a place of meditation and silence.

Visit to the basilica that houses the Porziuncola, the small church where the Franciscan Order was born.
