This exciting, educational and fun Dublin pub based tour is suitable for all. The itinerary listed is very well thought out and strong however each tour will be customised to suit and nobody knows the pubs better than Eamonn. We are not hamstrung by a set list of partnered pubs as many others are, this is truly a fun tailored adventure and it unfolds as we explore together.
In addition to the fun of the pubs stops, you'll also learn lots about our beer / whiskey / pub history as we explore a young Arthur Guinness, his ancestry, own family and the bold decisions he and his descendants made in life that laid the foundations for unimaginable success!
Expect good fun and learn local sayings, Irish humour with genuine passion, Irish music and plenty of photos.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
If it’s pick up at your hotel or acommodation, look out for a black Ford Luxury minivan and I’ll make myself known. If you are meeting at the Olympia theatre meeting point, stand under the shelter at the front door and I’ll pull up there.

Down at the very North West end of the River Liffey we experience a beautiful Victorian pub which can also be a great lunch stop too. A win win!

3The Liberties
Eamonn will pick you up and drive you to the Liberties area of Dublin which was the historical heartland of brewing and whiskey distilling in Dublin, still home to the famous Guinness brewery since 1759 and full of interesting auld Dublin history and local stories. Of course we'll drop into an old school Liberties pub! If preferred we will have a short easy walk around this area so we can really get a feel for it as well as a few great photo spots! Learn about the man himself, Arthur Guinness, his gentlemanly life in Georgian Dublin, Guinness family ancestry and Arthur's own family as well as the true story of his early life, The man who turned a beer into a culture!

Discover a Guinness family mansion from the era of their golden era. Exterior house history & chat about this opulent home that was bought by Benjamin Guinness in 1856! A very nice photo op too and some more amazing Guinness history.
