The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park is one of the few remaining vestiges of untouched desert wilderness and therefore a unique place to visit for those who cherish the natural world in its unadulterated state.
Discover the secrets of the desert as you traverse a maze of trails, with breathtaking views at every turn. Along the way, encounter evidence of ancient Puebloan civilizations as well as the more recent human history by visiting the well preserved rugged cowboy camp.
This private tour is for the intermediate to advanced hikers. Hike length can be anywhere from 4 to 11 miles, depending on the guests' preference and comfort levels.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick up from all hotels, campgrounds, AirBnBs within Moab city limits. Pick up from Sorrel River Ranch, Red Cliffs Lodge, Castle Valley, Under Canvas, Pack Creek Ranch takes place at our office at 150 E. Center, Moab, Utah.

What to expect
Discover the secrets of the desert as you traverse a maze of trails, winding through narrow slot canyons and ascending rocky outcrops with breathtaking views at every turn. Along the way, encounter evidence of ancient Puebloan civilizations, from weathered dwellings perched on canyon walls to intricate petroglyphs etched into the stone as well as the more recent human history by visiting the well preserved rugged cowboy camp.

Moreover, since you can use an existing pass to get in for free on our tours, we would be overcharging most of our guests who already have a pass. If you have a park pass you’re set. If not, please do not acquire one ahead of time (non-refundable) - you can easily purchase it directly from the National Park on the day of the tour.
