    Leaning Tower of Pisa

Our first stop will be in Pisa, where you’ll have the chance for an unrestricted visit. Here, you can admire and capture photos of the world-famous Leaning Tower alongside other remarkable monuments in Piazza dei Miracoli: the Cathedral and the Baptistery. The Leaning Tower, iconic for its tilt, began leaning during its construction in the 12th century due to the soft ground being unable to fully support its weight. Despite this challenge, the construction continued, and the tower was completed in the 14th century. Between 1993 and 2001, stabilization efforts successfully secured the structure, reducing its tilt to 3.97 degrees, preserving this architectural wonder for future generations. Next to the tower, the majestic Cathedral, with its striking white and gray marble façade, and the Baptistery, renowned for its unique acoustics and impressive dome, offer a deep dive into Pisa’s medieval art and spirituality. A visit to one of the world’s most beautiful squares is not to be missed!

    Lucca

Our second stop takes us to Lucca, a charming town that seems to hold the secret of time. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, Lucca is the birthplace of the renowned composer Giacomo Puccini. Visiting this city is like embarking on a journey through the ages: from Roman antiquity to the Middle Ages, from the Renaissance to the 19th century, and into the present day. Lucca is a true gem, enchanting in every season. Famous for its impressive Renaissance walls, entirely walkable or bikeable, it offers a unique experience among centuries-old trees and breathtaking views. The cobblestone streets of the historic center are vibrant and dotted with churches, towers, and squares that tell stories of a glorious past. Highlights include the Guinigi Tower, with its rooftop garden, and the timeless charm of Piazza dell’Anfiteatro. After this immersion into Lucca’s history and culture, we’ll return to Florence, enriched by an unforgettable experience.
