The moose is the biggest mammal living in the Norwegian woods, but despite their size they can be difficult to spot. Together with our experienced guides - who know the area and of course the moose very well - your chances of seeing moose increases. During the safari, the guide will share knowledge about the moose (and how to find them!), other wildlife and natures impact on local culture. This experience is accessible for everyone no matter physical shape.

Meeting and pickup
Our office and meeting point is located at Basecamp Frich's Hjerkinn: Hjerkinnhusveien 35 2661 Hjerkinn The meeting point for this safari is marked with a flag, that has our logo on it. Please go to this flag and meet our guide there. Our guide will be wearing clothing with our logo on it.
What to expect
Note: Please keep in mind that moose are wild and therefore shy animals, which means that you need a bit of luck to get close. Even with our experience, it is impossible to predict how the safari will be, as every day is different.
