You might feel nervous before takeoff (almost everyone does). The unknown always feels that way. But once your feet lift off the ground, that fear melts into calm. The air carries you. You’re sitting comfortably, securely, and suddenly… you’re flying.

Soar from the top of Signal Hill, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the Atlantic Ocean below. Whether you’re an adrenaline seeker or someone who never imagined doing this, you’ll land with a huge smile — and a story you’ll tell for life.

What to expect

Meet the Skywings Paragliding team at the Signal Hill launch site, where your pilot will guide you through a short safety briefing and explain the take-off procedure. After a few quick steps, you’ll be airborne — gliding silently over Cape Town’s stunning scenery. Enjoy unbeatable views of Lion’s Head, Table Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean before gently landing on the grassy fields below.
Flights last approximately 5–20 minutes, depending on wind and weather conditions. Once landed, you can take advantage of our free transfer back to Signal Hill.

No experience needed — perfect for first-timers!

Minimum age: 14 years

Maximum weight: 110 kg (242 lbs)

Flights are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled for safety

Photo/video packages are R400 and available for purchase after the flight
