The holy city of Haridwar located in the foothills of Shivalik mountain range, represents the point where the Ganges reaches the plains. Haridwar is famous for being blessed by the trinity of Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. The name Haridwar (Hardwar) has been derived from two words, 'Har' means Shiva, 'Hari' means Vishnu, and Dwar means door. Haridwar is the gateway of chardham yatra in the state of Uttarakhand. Haridwar is famous for its Ganga (Ganga Aarti) ceremony which is celebrated every evening.

In the evening visit the Har Ki Pauri to see the evening prayer ceremony. After visit, you can visit the local market and taste the local sweets and foods. Har Ki Pauri, meaning the feet of Lord Vishnu, is a ghat on the banks of the river Ganga in Haridwar. It is believed that it is the precise spot where the Ganga leaves the mountains and enters the plains.
Visit the Mansa devi temple, it is about 30 mins walk to the temple and return back to same route. Other option is go by cable car. Mansa Devi Temple, Haridwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi. The temple is located a top the Shivalik Hills of lower himalayas.
Visit the Chandi devi temple, you can walk or go by cable car to Chandi devi temple. Chandi Devi Temple, Haridwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Chandi Devi. The temple is situated a top the Shivalik Hills in the range of rajaji national park. There is option for Jeep safari at Rajaji national park.
Our car will drop us at parking, from there we will walk to Lakshman jhula. Visit the Lakshman Temple. Later cross the bridge. and visit neary by temple like 13 story temple and local market with guide.
Visit Ram jhula and cross the ram jhula bridge. Visit swarashram, Geeta bhwan, ved niketan, temple and local market. Optional- do the boating on the river Ganges.
Visit the Parmarth niketan famous for yoga and meditation. In the month of March, they organise the International yoga festival. Evening you can see here the Ganga aarti, which is very famous.
At the end of the trip, we will visit the Triveni Ghat to see the prayer ceremony at bank of river Ganges. Here you can also visit the Ragunath temple and local market.
Morning, you will be transferred to haridwar railway stataion to board the fast train to New Delhi.
