Is a breathtaking experience. The experience of climbing the Acatenango Volcano in a 4x4 transforms one of the most difficult hikes in Central America into an accessible and adrenaline-filled adventure, ideal for those seeking spectacular views with the less possible physical effort.
The vehicles reach an approximate elevation of 3,400 meters above sea level after about 45-50 minutes of off-road driving.
Once at the top, there is only a short 45-60 minute walk along relatively flat trails to reach the base camps.
Best time: November to April (dry season) to ensure clear skies and full visibility of the crater.

    Will be pick up in your hotel 9:30am be ready. and then will be driving to the office to have a briefing how is going to developp the experience At this moment you will recived the jacket, gloves and hat to protet your self from wind and hot weather. Finally departure to Acatenango Volcano. Will arrive to the place to start climbing with the 4 x 4.

    Early in the morning 4am departure walking to Fire Volcano up to is permitted. And take picture of lava and eruptions.
