The 1:00 PM departure allows you to enjoy Tikal in the afternoon and finish the tour at one of its best viewpoints, just as the sun begins to set over the jungle.
During the tour, you will not only discover Mayan temples and plazas; you will also walk through different areas and trails surrounded by tropical jungle, where you can appreciate birds and observe wild animals in their natural habitat, always depending on the conditions and the activity of the fauna.

What to expect
During the tour, we will visit the Great Plaza, where we will see the impressive Temples I and II and discover the importance of this space for the ancient Mayan civilization. We will continue to Temple III and the imposing Temple IV, from where we can enjoy a spectacular view of the jungle and the ancient temples that stand out among the vegetation.
The adventure will continue in Lost World, one of the oldest complexes in Tikal, where we will learn about part of its ceremonial and astronomical importance.
Finally, we will reach the most special moment of the experience: enjoying the sunset as the light changes over the jungle and the ancient Mayan structures. A 2-for-1 adventure that combines history, nature, temple exploration, and an unforgettable sunset in Tikal.
