Our Night Sky Star Safari is a comprehensive stargazing activity for all. Including a meal at an authentic Canarian restaurant on our way up the mountain and also stopping for an amazing sunset from above the Sea of Clouds, our activity is your introduction to the night sky, stars and the Universe. It includes the guided use of telescopes for night sky observation of visible planets, the Moon, stars, galaxies & more. Join us as we take a safari trek across the night sky with our lasers using constellations and detailed explanations of the science and mythology by expert astronomy guides. While in Tenerife, these astronomy tours are an ideal excursion for holiday makers, taking advantage of Tenerife being one of the best locations in the world for both professional and amateur astronomy. Our aim is that you have fun observing the sky and making it easy for you. We hope to give you as many WOW moments as possible!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Free pick up and return service from South Tenerife ONLY. We will message on the morning of your tour with exact pick up times and details. Please contact us if in a different area to arrange meeting point not listed and we will endeavor to accommodate your request. The language on the bus is ENGLISH ONLY. Our translators meet us on site and the main presentation can be in your selected language. (don't worry you wont miss a thing as they will catch you up with anything that the English guide has said on the bus!)

Our Pick Ups are from the South Zone only. We have a few stops at hotels picking up and then Drive straight to our first stop, the restaurant!

We stop after pick ups and a short drive, at one of the local Canarian restaurants. Here you have a light meal and drinks and get to converse with the other travellers on the trip. It's a great way to meet new people with a similar interest as you. The menu is... Pork steak from the restaurants own farm and BBQ Chicken with Canarian Pots & salad, to finish a cake. Both meals include your first drink and water Wine and soft drinks are on table as well. (Vegetarian and Vegan Options available any day, also we can cater for Coeliacs) Canarian food is simple but tasty, get an insight into the traditional canarian diet!

After dinner we head up further int the mountains. We will travel through the most recent lava flows on the island and up into the forest itself. Here we will stop for an amazing sunset from above the sea of clouds. With Views of Mount Teide behind us and the lava fields all around us in the center of the Coronal Forrest make a great spot above the clouds to watch the sunset with a glass of cava! We will also take photos and a sunset time-lapse that we will share with you after your tour FOR FREE!

From our sunset spot it's just a short 15-minute drive to where amongst the pre-historic rock formations we will be waiting with 4 high powered computerised telescopes and lasers to explore the wonders of the Universe from our own solar system to distant galaxies! We will use a mixture of mythology, science and laser presentations to guide you through the constellations and use Telescopes to enhance the visual extravaganza that appears before your very eyes as it reaches Astronomical Darkness.
