This outing is perfect if you have never practiced sea kayaking. You will immediately feel the glide because our kayaks are excellent.
Also because our kayak guides are certified professionals, passionate about sea kayaking and will know how to teach you the technical basics.
The sea kayak course offers you a good overview of the cliffs that characterize the site of the Calanques National Park.
The exit is decorated with topos on the fauna, the flora and the history of the site.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Park in the parking lot of the Hostel and meet us. To do this, walk around the building on the left to find the kayak base. The guide is waiting for you. Thank you for not entering the building.
What to expect
Together and with your sea kayak guide you will choose your Kayaking equipment (single or double) and your safety equipment that you will load on the trailer in Kayaks. 15 min
We will leave by minibus and carpool to the practice site which can be redefined according to the weather conditions. 15 to 20 min
Arriving on site, the guide will help you make some adjustments in the kayak and explain how to best use the paddle. You will even have time to practice during an initiation on the water to perfect your paddle maneuvers. 30 to 45 min
When everyone is ready the hike begins. In acceptable weather conditions, it is considered to pass Cap Croisette to go around Maïre Island. This island is protected because many birds nest there and is located in the Calanques National Park. In the south of the island you will sail by sea kayak at the foot of magnificent limestone cliffs which makes this tour very impressive. 2:00. A swimming break is sometimes possible.
Disembarkation at the starting point and return to the Inn.
