Serengeti National Park
Leaving Mwanza city, we drive to the vast Serengeti plains and home to black-maned lion, hyena and cheetah on the land, and hippos in the river. This is the legendary Africa of our dreams, where spectacular events are planned. A special Bush Walk around the camp will bring you closer to the creatures of the grasses, and romance awaits with sunset cocktails around a bonfire on the vast open plains. We stay overnight in the unique atmosphere of the safaris of yesteryear at one of the luxurios and exclusive tented camps in Africa, Kirawira Serena Luxury Camp. You might also consider a Hot Air Balloon Safari.

Game drive is alternately fascinating, relaxing and dramatic in the company of our safari guide who regale you with bush lore, educate you on conservation and entertain you with tall tales. Grumeti River
Those of us who can’t quite believe that hip- pos really exist—that’s how otherworldly they sometimes seem—are delighted that rumbling pods of them disport on the Grumeti, along with many single-minded crocodiles; the great migration funnels into a crossing of this river, and the crocs bide their time like the pleistocenic beasts they are. After a final game drive, we’ll head back to Mwanza city
