Kusadasi to Pamukkale and Hierapolis

Hierapolis & Pamukkale
After stopping for lunch (own expense), have an afternoon tour to the archaeological site of Pamukkale where you will see Pamukkale’s magical white travertine rock terraces cascading down from the ancient city of Hierapolis. Walk around this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide, learning about the rock’s formation before heading to the ancient city of Hierapolis for a relaxing dip in its naturally formed pools (own expense). Walk around its crumbling ruins and admire its Classical necropolis (Roman burial site) and huge Roman theatre before heading to your Pamukkale hotel in time for dinner.

Day 4
Pamukkale – Silk Road – Cappadocia

Enjoy breakfast and check out of your hotel before travelling by minibus and head to Turkey’s mystical Cappadocia region. The journey will take up most of your day, but you’ll pass a fascinating stretch of road called the Silk Road or Uzun Yol where in ancient times, consisted of caravan trails between the important silk-making regions of Anatolia. Nowadays, the most prominent reminders of the ancient trade route are the kervansarays (caravan palaces).

Istanbul – Istanbul Airport

Enjoy breakfast, and then spend the morning at leisure in Istanbul, perhaps go shopping at the Grand Bazaar for souvenirs or do some more sightseeing independently. Then at a pre-arranged time in the afternoon, check out of your hotel and finish your tour with a transfer to Istanbul's airports or you could extend your holiday.
