Your Marrakech adventure begins as your local guide meets you at your Riad, ready to lead you on a captivating walking tour through the city's most treasured sites. The journey starts at the famous Djemaa El-Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage site that embodies the vibrant spirit of Moroccan culture, complete with street theatre, acrobats, snake charmers, musicians, and Henna artists. From there, your guide will take you to the Kotoubia Mosque, a 12th-century architectural wonder, followed by the Ali Ben Youssef Madrassa, a historic Qur'anic school over six centuries old. You'll then explore the Bahia Palace, renowned for its stunning Moroccan decoration, and the 16th-century Badi Palace, a beautiful ruin steeped in history. The tour continues with a visit to the Saadian Tombs, a 16th-century royal necropolis, and the bustling Souks, Marrakech's vibrant markets, before being escorted back to your Riad.

Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Aitbenhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges

We will pick you up from your Riad or Hotel in Marrakech and begin a journey to the High Atlas Mountains, the highest range in North Africa. Along the way, we’ll pass through fertile valleys and cross the Tizi N'Tichka Pass at 2260 meters, driving through Berber villages and the Ounila Valley to reach the famous Kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou. This 12th-century fortified village, recognized by UNESCO in 1987, has been the backdrop for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We’ll explore the Kasbah, walking through its mud-brick alleys to reach the granaries, the most fortified spot. After lunch at a local restaurant near the Kasbah, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, the Cinema Capital of Morocco. Here, we’ll visit the ancient Kasbah of Tourirt before traveling along the "Road of Thousand Kasbahs" to the Valley of Roses. Finally, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, with its beautiful landscapes of wheat, walnuts, and figs, and drop you off at your Riad in the Dades Valley.

Day 4
Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert
We’ll meet again at your Riad and begin our journey through stunning landscapes. Our first stop is Tinerhir, once a key trading hub and mining town. Nearby, you'll find a palm oasis and an abandoned 19th-century village. Next, we’ll visit the Todgha Gorges, where 300m-high orange canyons house a crystal-clear river flowing through limestone cliffs. Continuing through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, we'll pass Berber towns, villages, and oases, and see nomads tending their herds. We'll then reach Erfoud, a fossil town and major date exporter. A 40-minute drive from Erfoud brings us to the Merzouga Desert, known as one of the last paradises on Earth. We’ll arrive at a hotel near the dunes before sunset, giving you time to relax before joining your camel trek. Your guide will lead you through the Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping at the highest dune to watch the spectacular sunset. Afterward, you'll continue to the desert camp, where traditional Berber music awaits around the campfire.

Merzouga Desert - Rissani - N'kob - Deraa Valley - Ouarzazate

After a hearty breakfast at the camp, you will be picked up by a 4x4 car for a journey across the striking Erg Chebbi dunes to a hotel located within the dune lines. Your driver will be waiting for you there. Leaving the Merzouga desert, you will head to the bustling Rissani Local Market, where you can take a leisurely walk and discover the Berber culture, as well as the trading traditions of the region. Your next stop is N’Kob, a small village boasting 44 authentic Kasbahs and a picturesque palm grove oasis, reached by driving through the Hamada mountains and the palm tree-filled Deraa Valley. After a delicious lunch in Agdez, you will cross the Ait Saouen mountain pass to reach Ouarzazate, famously known as the "Hollywood of Morocco" due to its use as a backdrop for numerous international movies and series. Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Set off on a journey from Ouarzazate to the majestic High Atlas Mountains, traveling through the verdant Ounila Valley, renowned for its beautiful river landscapes and Berber villages. Our first stop will be the historic Telouat Kasbah, an impressive 18th-century fortress where you can admire its traditional Moroccan architecture. As we cross the High Atlas Mountains, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, standing at an elevation of 2260m. Upon reaching Marrakech, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation nestled in the heart of the city’s ancient medina.
