We will begin with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most impressive mosques in the world. Afterwards, we will drive to Rabat, the current capital of Morocco, to continue your journey.
On the way, we will make a stop in Rabat, Morocco’s charming capital, to explore the iconic Hassan Tower and the historic Oudayas Kasbah, with its stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean. We will also visit the majestic Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Chefchaouen, the enchanting Blue City, where you will spend the night immersed in its picturesque streets and vibrant culture
oday, enjoy some leisure time in the morning to explore the enchanting Blue City of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most picturesque destinations. Afterwards, we will continue your journey through the scenic Rif Mountains toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a fascinating site steeped in history.
Upon arriving at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a local guide will take you on a fascinating historical walk through the site. Explore the ancient ruins, marvel at the remarkable Roman architecture, and immerse yourself in the stories of this extraordinary archaeological treasure.
After exploring the Roman ruins of Volubilis, continue your scenic drive toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s most fortified imperial cities. Along the way, make photo stops at the city’s highlights, including the famous Bab Mansour Gate, Lhdim Square, and the Sehrij Souani Reservoir. After discovering Meknes, we will continue onward to Fes, where you will spend the night.
Today, you will enjoy a full-day exploration of the historic city of Fes with an experienced local guide. As we wander through the ancient streets of the Medina, it will feel like stepping back in time to a world of traditional charm and centuries-old heritage. We will visit the famous Blue Gate, Bab Boujloud, the grand entrance to the Medina, followed by the Quaraouine Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world. Next, we will explore the Madrassa Bou Inania, a stunning theological college showcasing exquisite Moroccan architecture. Our journey continues through the Medina Souks, the city’s oldest marketplace, where you can discover unique handcrafted goods and souvenirs. Finally, we will visit the iconic Tanneries, where traditional leather-making techniques have remained unchanged for centuries. At the end of the day, your guide will escort you back to your Riad in Fes, where you can relax and reflect on the city’s rich culture and history.
Early in the morning, we will meet you at your Riad in Fes and set off for the Merzouga Desert. Our first stop will be in Ifrane, often called the "Switzerland of Morocco" for its clean streets, modern architecture, and well-manicured surroundings. Here, we will pause for a photo opportunity and take in the picturesque scenery before continuing our journey toward the desert.
As we pass through the Azrou Forest, we will make a brief stop to meet the Barbary macaques, a native monkey species that inhabit the forest. This is a wonderful opportunity for photos and close encounters with nature. Afterward, we will continue our journey, enjoying the scenic drive through the stunning Middle Atlas Mountains, with breathtaking landscapes unfolding along the way.
Upon arriving at the Merzouga Desert, we will stop at a convenient meeting point where you can refresh and use the facilities before heading to the camel meeting point. Here, your camel trekking adventure begins, as you cross the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. For those who prefer not to ride a camel, a 4x4 vehicle is available to take you across the dunes. During the trek, we will pause to witness the breathtaking sunset in the heart of the dunes, capturing unforgettable photos and memories. After sunset, we will continue to your luxury desert camp, where you will enjoy a delicious dinner followed by a live Berber music performance under the stars around a cozy fire. You will spend the night in your own private tent, complete with a private bath and shower, experiencing the tranquility and magic of the desert.
After witnessing the sunrise from a dune near your camp, enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off. A 4x4 vehicle will take you back across the Erg Chebbi dunes to the meeting point with your driver. Once reunited with your driver, we will continue our journey toward Rissani, a charming city rich in history and local culture.
Upon arrival in Rissani, a city once known for its old Quranic school, you will discover the largest local souk in the area, especially famous for dates. The market takes place three days a week; Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. If your visit coincides with a market day, we will stop to explore the vibrant souk, witnessing traditional trading practices and how locals spend and enjoy their market day.
After exploring the Rissani market, we will drive to the Todra Gorges, famous for its 300-meter-high canyon walls forming a magnificent gorge. A spring runs through the center, nourishing the scenic Todra palm tree oasis, creating a stunning natural landscape. After experiencing the gorges, we will continue to the Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a traditional boutique Riad that beautifully showcases Moroccan and Berber architecture, offering an authentic and charming atmosphere.
After breakfast, we will continue to enjoy the last day of your tour with us. Our first stop will be the picturesque Tissadrine viewpoint in the Dades Gorges, followed by a quick photo stop at the famous Monkey Toes rock formation. From there, we will continue our journey toward the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, passing through the Roses Valley and the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, taking in the breathtaking landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival at Ksar Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site, you will be captivated by its ancient fortified walls, mud-brick architecture, and stunning panoramic views. This remarkable site has been featured in numerous films and showcases the traditional design of southern Moroccan architecture. A local guide will accompany you as you explore the kasbah, sharing fascinating stories about its history, architecture, and the lives of the people who once lived here. You will have the opportunity to wander through its narrow alleyways, admire the intricate details of the buildings, and take in the scenic surroundings.
After visiting the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, we will embark on a scenic 3-hour drive across the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at some of the most panoramic viewpoints along the way and allowing for photo opportunities whenever needed. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will say farewell to your guide, who will ensure you are comfortably dropped off at your booked accommodation. This will mark the end of your memorable tour, leaving you with a collection of unforgettable experiences and cherished memories of your journey through Morocco.
