Today, we’ll cover about 16-18 km, visiting several hill tribe villages, including Na Thac, Khuoi My, and Lung Vai - known for their beautiful rice terraces and traditional stilt houses. The first 10 km can be challenging as we gradually ascend from 200 meters to 800 meters in altitude. However, the effort is well worth it, with stunning landscapes unfolding around us. As we climb higher, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Ha Giang city and the surrounding rice fields.

    Ha Giang

    After lunch, we’ll continue your journey along an asphalt road for about 3 km before descending on a narrow dirt trail. This section is easier, as it’s mostly downhill for about 4 km, taking us from 800 meters back down to 200 meters. This part of the trail also offers magnificent views of rice terraces and palm forests, as well as opportunities to meet more friendly locals. We’ll arrive in Ha Thanh, a Tay village, around 4 PM. From there, we can either walk an additional 2 km or take a car back to Ha Giang, where your adventure will conclude. Walking distance: approximately 16-18 km Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang.
