What to expect

Your day begins with a pickup in East London, followed by a scenic 40-minute drive to the coastal village of Chintsa. On arrival, meet your local guide for an insightful walk through both the affluent area and the township, learning about the community’s history, daily life, and local development projects involving youth and families.

The experience continues at Onwaba Drop-In Centre, where you’ll be welcomed by Temi, who shares the inspiring story behind the center. You’ll then help prepare and serve meals for the children, followed by time to interact, connect, and take photos.

After this meaningful visit, transfer to Crawford's Beach Lodge for lunch and relaxation. You may enjoy the beach nearby or visit Hay clay Pottery & Painting Studio for a creative activity. Later, your driver will return you to East London, concluding a day of cultural connection, community impact, and coastal beauty.
