    Mehrangarh is one of the most spectacular forts in India. It is perched in an impregnable rock at 120 metres above the ground. It was built in 1438 by Rao Jodha, the founder of the city of Jodhpur. Some scenes in the Hollywood movie “The Dark Knight Rises” were shot in this fort!

This cenotaph was built in the 19th century by Maharaja Sardar Singh in the memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur.     We will visit an iconic clock tower, which is a majestic structure built by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911. It's a prominent landmark showcasing 19th-century stone masonry.
