The Sculptures gallery has exhibits from from different dynasties, including Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain sculptures. The collection at National Art Gallery includes Tanjore paintings known for their rich colors and gold leaf work, Rajput paintings, Mughal paintings, and works by renowned Indian artists like Raja Ravi Varma. The Anthropology Gallery showcases the life of early humans in India through a wealth of artefacts from the Stone Age, Copper Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age.
Connemara library building itself is a beautiful example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, blending Gothic-Byzantine, Rajput Mughal, and Southern Hindu Deccani styles. The main reading room is stunning with its rich wooden ceiling, supported by ornate pillars and arches adorned with sculpted acanthus leaves. The Connemara library is one of Asia's Largest Libraries, It is mome to over 600,000 books, periodicals, and journals. Note- On Sundays, Connemara library is closed and we will visit Anna library instead
