Safari in the afternoon In the mangroves, let yourself become lost. Your boat navigates through secret creeks where saltwater crocodiles glide soundlessly and dolphins curve in the water. You may glide above the mangroves and look out over an unending expanse of green at Dobanki's canopy walk. Every ripple and birdcall in the forest is a scene in its never-ending production, giving the impression that it is a live theater. You might go through a community in the dark and encounter families who coexist peacefully with this untamed, unadulterated wildness.

Safari in the morning Your best chance of seeing the Royal Bengal Tiger as it patrols the riverbanks is on the last morning. After driving through the countryside of Bengal at sunrise, you will join your boat at Godkhali to begin your trip. As you sail the river, mudskippers jump on the banks as kingfishers dart by. The wildlife of the Sundarbans can be seen from the Sajnekhali watchtower. The woodland is nevertheless full of drama, even if the striped monarch is not visible, with eagles hovering overhead and deer locked in alert calm.
