    Golden Temple

The Golden Temple tour takes us to Sri Harimandir Sahib which is not only a central religious place of the Sikhs, but also a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. The temple follows a unique Sikh architecture. The fact that it is built at a level lower than the surrounding lands, teaches the lesson of egalitarianism and humility. The four entrances of this holy shrine from all four directions, signify that people belonging to every walk of life are equally welcome. After the Golden Temple tour, we will also visit a langar or public kitchen of the Gurudwara. The langar here serves free hot meals daily to 50000-100000 people.
