Thalang Road is the most famous street in the historic part of Old Phuket Town. The street is lined with small cafes, traditional or fashionable boutiques and a few restaurants. Soi Romanee has become one of the famous streets in the historical centre of old Phuket town. This very short street has a long and colourful history. Today it is home to colourful cafes, souvenir shops, fancy ice cream parlours, and small but posh guesthouses. Branching off Thalang, in the heart of the Old Town, this small, vibrant street flaunts some of Phuket's most gorgeously revamped Sino-Portuguese architecture.
