You'll be driven to the edge of Naddi village, where your leisurely walk begins. Smooth paths wind through the village, offering glimpses of both traditional and modern homes inhabited by the local community. On clear days, the majestic Dhauladhar range serves as a breathtaking backdrop, with its snowy peaks most visible in February and March.

The walk ascends to a maximum height of approximately 2000 meters before transitioning to an uneven trail that meanders through a shaded forest. Along the way, vibrant Tibetan prayer flags flutter among the trees, creating a serene atmosphere. You'll arrive at a small settlement of mud-brick houses, home to both monks and monkeys. Nearby stands a stupa, marking the cremation site of the monk who accompanied the current Dalai Lama during his escape from Tibet.

As you leave the forest, you'll enjoy sweeping views back toward McLeod Ganj before ending in Dharamkot, about 3hrs after starting your walk. A local tea shop here offers a refreshing break. For those wanting to extend their walk, you can continue walking towards Mcleodganj.
