Our road trip from Marrakech will take us to the Gorges Todra and Dades crossing the valleys, canyons, palm groves, lakes, rivers, woodlands, and mountains.

will meet your driver and starting at 8 am from your accommodation, We journey over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass 2260m/7500ft- It is the highest pass-road in Africa. Panoramic views over the Berber villages and beautiful landscapes in the background. We stop for a break and pictures.
Later, we drive through the Ounila Valley then we stop to visit the Kasbah of Telouet.
We continue along the Ounila valley till the village of Ait Benhaddou.
We stop for lunch here, and we go for a visit to the Mud-brick Castel listed world heritage by UNESCO.
We pass by Ouarzazate, the Moroccan Hollywood city due to the number of movies that have been shot here. (Optional visit to the Cinema Studios).
Afterward, we continue our journey towards Dades valley through Rose Valley and the Road of thousand Kasbah. Overnight in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we will drive to the top of Dades Valley, beautiful view over the valley and the mountain gorge. We head toward Todra valley via Tinghir. It is a contrasted valley with Rocky canons & huge palm trees. We will absolutely make picture stops. Later, we get to the famous Todra Mountain Gorge, (Its altitude: 400m/ 1312ft.) where you can walk through.
We resume our journey to the Draa Valley. We head south toward the Saghrou Atlas Mountains. Volcanic Rock formation contrasted with the green oasis of Draa Valley.
Later will be a fascinating Palm grove, oases, and ancient Kasbahs. Till we get to Zagora “the Desert door”.
After breakfast, we take a nice walk through the Palm grove & oases, till we get to the Jewish quarter so we can visit the Kasbah of Amzerou.
Later on, we drive to the 16th-century village called Tamegroute. You will visit the Koranic school & its library, the Underground Kasbah, and the green pottery makers.
Lunch will be in Mhamid, 2 options: 1 – Restaurant in Mhamid 2 – Picnic in the Desert (your driver will organize it).
We leave the tarmac road and we trade it for off-road, Stones River, and Sand Dunes for 2 hours. On the way, we will stop at the Oases. 30min later, we will arrive at Erg Chigaga (largest sand dunes in the region) before the sunset Well! Here you have to trade your vehicle for Camels, so you would have 1 hour Camel trekking on the sand dunes during the sunset. The best time for pictures as the sand turns red in order to match this beautiful sky. Arrive at your Desert camp, Check in your private tent, and enjoy your special evening. Dinner and campfire with drum players and Berber music.
You will assist the sunrise from the top of the dunes, especially the sand color contrasts with the sky and the sun. It’s breakfast time. Your Camels are ready for trekking through the sand dunes of Erg Chigaga. In 2 hours we reach the Tamares tree, where your guide is going to make the lunch. Kebabs & freshly baked bread will be made locally as the nomads. Explore the area around and get back to the main Desert camp. Admire the beautiful sunset on the dunes for the second time. enjoy your special evening. Dinner and campfire with drum players and Berber music.
After breakfast, we will head north-west direction to Foum-Zguid for 3 hours on Off-road. We will stop at Iriqui Lake, a surprisingly dry water Lake in the middle of nowhere.
The next stop is at the fossil beds, make a fossil hunt? We will drive along the mountain ridges of the Jebel Bani, and acacia tree groves. We will take a break as soon as we got the Tarmac road back. Our break will be at the Foum-Zguid village.
We drive 1 hour and we stop for lunch at Taznakht village. Optional; visit the women’s cooperative for the carpet weavers, as Taznakht has been known for.
We drive through the Anti-Atlas, a UNESCO Argan-tree Bioreserve, and finally to Taroudant, known locally as the ‘Grandmother of Marrakesh’ it looks like a smaller version of Marrakech with its surrounding ramparts and was the country’s capital at the Saadians in the sixteenth century before they moved onwards to the Red City.
Shortly after breakfast will leave Taroudant toward Essaouira . after a 1-hour drive we will be at Agadir city the most resort town of Morocco famous for its golf courses, wide crescent beach, and seaside promenade lined with cafes. We will stop in Agadir to enjoy its long golden beach.
Then we take the Atlantic coast road passing by many fishing villages and stop in one for a lunch break.
On the way, you will join some local women on the operation to extract argan oil from the argan nuts the traditional way and see some goats climbing Argan trees, Finally, we arrive at Essaouira you will have a free evening to enjoy this wonderful city and spend the night in one of the city’s charming Riads.
