This experience will show you the proper etiquette for making tea (temae), drinking tea, sitting, bowing, standing, and walking. You'll see how to host guests and serve delicious tea, as well as how to be a good guest and enjoy the tea ceremony.

What to expect

In an authentic Japanese-style room, the tea ceremony teacher will first demonstrate the proper tea ceremony etiquette, and then each guest will make their own matcha and enjoy it with Japanese sweets.
