    Your driver will pick you up from your Nanjing city hotels lobby and take you to Nanjing Railway Station. You will take the morning train to Beijing which takes about 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, your tour guide will hold your name sign waiting for you at the exit of the arrival hall. Then heading directly to Tian'anmen Square. Stop for lunch, then follow your tour guide to explore the city.

    Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

    Tian'anmen square is the world’s largest public square, it is the home to the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong and the great Monument to the Peoples’ Heroes. Follow your tour guide, stroll along the square and get to know the histories and stories behind.

See ancient treasures from thousands of years of history and admire the maze of palaces, gardens and stunning courtyards as your guide informs you about their histories and stories.

    Afterwards, you will explore the Temple of Heaven, once visited by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual prayer ceremonies. Follow your tour guide to stroll around the park to check out the local retired peoples daily life in the park, and get to know the histories and stories about the temple.     Mutianyu Great Wall

    Your driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at 8:30am for departure to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall.relax on the 1.5 hours drive to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall more rugged and slightly less crowded than more famous Badaling section of the Wall. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards. Follow your tour guide to hike up and down different towers, and enjoy the convenient way of cable car round trip ,or toboggan ride at the wall.

    Enjoy lunch in the local restaurant, then you will drive pass by the Olympic Park and stop for photos. Beijing Olympic Park is where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics took place. The two famous stadiums are -The Water Cube and The Bird's Nest ,The Bird's Nest was the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, when it had a capacity of 91 000 spectators.

    Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

    Then, heading to the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace in Beijing – first built in 1750, largely destroyed in the war of 1860 and restored on its original foundations in 1886 – is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.The Summer Palace combined political and administrative, residential, spiritual, and recreational functions within a landscape of lakes and mountains, in accordance with the Chinese philosophy of balancing the works of man with nature.
