Please note this tour last about 8-9 hours, including 6 hours walking. Combine three UNESCO historical sites and Tian’anmen Square which might be too tight, but if you have short time and want to see as much as possible this is the best option. Tian’anmen Square might close without advance notice, in that case are not able to get on the square.

Move on to the Tian’anmen Square, which is the largest city center square in the world. This famous location witnessed some of the most dramatic chapters of Chinese history. Stroll through Tiananmen Square, you will pasty the Front Gate, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, Monument to the People's heroes, Great Hall of the People. Listen to the commentary from your tour guide and heading north towards the Forbidden City.
The Forbidden City was the political and ritual center of China for over 500 years. After its completion in 1420, the Forbidden City was home to 24 emperors, their families and servants during the Ming (1368–1644) and the Qing (1644–1911) dynasties. Follow your tour guide to explore the halls and courtyards, gain deep insight into Ming and Qing’s history as well as emperor &empresses life in the palace. Exit the Forbidden City from the North gate, hop into your private vehicle heading towards the Summer Palace.
You will stop at a local restaurant for a delicious lunch and rest your tired feet. In the afternoon, you will spend about 1.5 hours to experience the best-preserved and largest Imperial Garden existing in China. Your tour guide will offer deep insight into the history and bring you back to the Qing Dynasty, reveal Empress Dowager Cixi’a luxury life in the palace. After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing city.
