Your driver will meet you at your Chengdu city hotel, assist with luggage, and smoothly transfer you to the railway station, ensuring you have ample time for check-in. Then, you’ll board the high-speed train for Xi’an at your leisure. Upon arriving in Xi’an, your guide will be waiting at the exit with a sign bearing your name. Throughout the day, the guide will stay by your side, providing in-depth historical explanations and being ready to answer any questions you may have about the sites, history, or culture.
First, you’ll head to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Included in your ticket is access to the three main pits and the Exhibition Hall. As you enter Pit 1, the largest and most impressive, your guide will point out the 6,000-plus life-sized warriors, each with unique facial features, and explain how they were crafted over 2,200 years ago to guard Emperor Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife. Feel free to ask about the craftsmanship techniques, the significance of different warrior ranks, or any other details that pique your curiosity.
