Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

Hall of Great Harmony (Taihe Dian)

Temple of Heaven
Take a convenient bus to the Temple of heaven. Enjoy a delicious Peking duck lunch in the local restaurant, then move on to Temple of Heaven. Temple of Heaven, one of the holiest Imperial temples in Beijing. Follow your tour guide to stroll around the courtyards and halls, learn history and culture from your tour guide. Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest

Great Wall at Mutianyu Section--8 Hours- Private Car

Mutianyu Great Wall
You driver and tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. It's is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than more famous Badaling section of the Wall. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards. Upon arrival, you can choose to take either the cable car up or ski lift up to the Wall, then follow your tour guide to hike up and down, to discover different beacon and watch towers. You can decide how long you want to stay at the Wall, when you are ready to leave, heading back to Beijing city, and enjoy a delicious lunch in the local restaurant.

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)
The afternoon tour can be customized according to your demands. These places are hard to reach by public transportation, since you have a private car for this day, you can choose to visit the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs were the burial site for thirteen emperors from the Ming Dynasty (1409-1645).

Long Corridor at the Summer Palace

Lama Temple (Yonghegong)
Stop at a local restaurant for lunch, then continue to the Lama Temple (Yonghe Palace), the largest and best preserved lamasery in Beijing. It was converted into lamasery in 1744 and so Yonghe Palace became the national center of Lama administration. The lama temple has been one of the most influential Tibetan Buddhism temples in China. It is today not only a museum of Tibetan Buddhism but also a functioning temple where people pray. Follow your tour guide to explore different courtyards and buildings, admire the Buddhist statues, see how the locals worship in the temple, get to know the religious in China, and learn many stories behind. Finally, be amazed by the statue of the Buddha Maitreya in the hall, which carved from one precious white sandalwood log from Nepal, is the biggest wooden Buddha in the world.

Temple of Confucius and Guozijian Museum
Next, walking through a beautiful and quiet hutong allay to discover the Temple of Confucius and Imperial College (Guozijian Museum), where the emperor expounded the Confucian classics to an audience of thousands of kneeling students, professors and court officials – an annual rite. Built by the grandson of Kublai Khan in 1306, the former college was the supreme academy during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties.

Wudaoying Hutong
Finally, explore the shops, bars and hutong allays at Wudaoying area. Your tour will ends here, you can choose to explore more of the area on your own, or your tour guide will take you back to your hotel by subway or bus.
