Next, discover the world-famous Ephesus Ancient City, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites. Explore the Celsus Library, the Great Theater, marble streets, Roman baths, temples, and fountains.

2Selcuk
Afterward, enjoy two local street food favorites: doner kebab, thinly sliced marinated meat roasted on a vertical spit, and kokorec, a seasoned grilled delicacy chopped with spices. Continue with a short cultural walk in Selcuk. See the Isabey Mosque, an outstanding example of Seljuk architecture, and the St. John Basilica, built on the believed tomb of St. John the Apostle. Next, taste freshly baked Turkish pide (flatbread), often called “Turkish pizza,” with a variety of toppings.
