What is 'OraeGage'?
'Oraegage' refers to a store that has been carrying on Seoul's tradition and value for a long time. It conveys the meaning of an old store that people want it to last even longer. Seoul has identified and designated OraeGage stores for the past five years from 2017, with the distinctive atmosphere and stories of Seoul, in order to showcase numerous tourist attractions of Seoul to tourists at home and abroad.
You can hear local stories of Seochon and learn about the characteristics and appreciation of traditional Korean art.
Listen to stories about artists and their works from the Joseon Dynasty, modern, and contemporary periods of Korea.
Visit local eateries and hear the origins and stories behind the food.
