We will promptly pick you up at your hotel at the agreed time. We can also pick up from other types of accommodation and be flexible. Just let us know in advance.

What to expect

This is the perfect day to chill and cruise up the river for a spot of light fishing and sunbathing.

Transport will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Banjul, where you will join your boat and captain for the day. Take time to relax and sunbathe on the top of the boat until you reach your first fishing destination.

All the rods and bait are supplied, and you are ready to catch butterfish, lady fish, frog fish, gruppa, carbs, barracuda and even the odd snake!

Lunch is served when you feel like it and even some of your fresh catch can be included. After a gentle cruise back late afternoon, you might even find time to drop in on the market in Banjul before returning home.
