Taste your way through multiple Cambodian breakfast favourites, from family-run street stalls to hidden local spots, while learning the stories behind Khmer cuisine and the ingredients that shape it. Visit a local pagoda, meet the people behind the food, and gain a deeper understanding of everyday life in Cambodia.

Part food tour, part cultural journey, this experience offers an intimate look at Siem Reap through its morning rituals, neighbourhood flavours, and the people who keep traditions alive. We finish with a final surprise - a memorable ending to a very different kind of morning.

What to expect

First stop, a colourful local market, prepare for an explosion of your senses. Here you will learn about the often under-represented Khmer Cuisine and ingredients in a fun and informative way. You’ll enjoy first Cambodian breakfast, a dish that is deep-rooted in Cambodian history dating back to the 13th century.

We then head out to the streets on a guided mini city orientation tour and pagoda walk, before foraging up some more snacks and heading to a local family-run street stall. This dish is, arguably, the most famous of all Cambodian breakfasts.

After a small walk we settle in for our final breakfast, where the produce is grown next to our table, a sign of the the future of Khmer cuisine.

Cambodian cuisine debunked and devoured, more than a food tour, you will leave with a better understanding of Khmer culture, history and current affairs.

And then… a surprise (2 actually).
